The BlackRock wunderkind is now building his own money management firm. His New York-based Four Wood Capital Partners is joining forces with midsize fund companies that specialize in real estate, private equity and asset management–areas where Baffico expects to see above-average returns. This year Four Wood will team with five to ten fund companies that have assets ranging from $350 million to $150 billion.
